Ernesto received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Mapua Institute of Technology, Manila, Philippines. He has more than thirty-five years of experience in all aspects of the practice of architecture.

Since joining M+C in 2001, Ernesto has been the senior project manager in charge of construction administration for the Expansion of the Hyatt Regency Hotel and project manager for five new buildings at Southwestern College in Otay Mesa. Currently, he is working on Cortez Blu, a 20-story luxury condominium tower, and the M2i mixed-use residential project. In addition, he supervises Quality Control and writes specifications for numerous M+C projects.

Prior to joining M+C, Ernesto had been the senior project manager for the San Diego Convention Center Expansion, Ace / Koll mid-rise office building, Federal Courthouse and Offices in San Diego, La Jolla Cancer Research Laboratory, Science Building at Miramar College, six Sharp Rees-Stealy out-patient facilities in San Diego, Hilton Hotel remodeling and renovations, three Sea World Theme Parks, California State Prison Facility in Blythe, and Steele Canyon High School.
