James Castelluzzo received his Master of Architecture in Urban Design from City University of New York and his Bachelor of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. He is a licensed architect in California and New York, and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He has more than thirty years of experience in all aspects of the practice of architecture.
Since joining M+C in 1994, Mr. Castelluzzo has been the senior project architect and studio director for educational facilities. Some of these include Lincoln High School, San Ysidro High School, Otay Ranch High School, Rancho del Rey Middle School, Eastlake Middle School, the modernization of Sweetwater High School, the modernization of Chula Vista Middle School, and the award-winning Weingart City Heights Library. In 2003, the Corporate Officers of M+C elevated him to the position of Principal and Studio Director.
Prior to joining M+C, his project experience includes the Price Student Center and Bookstore at UCSD, Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo, La Quinta High School, Bixby Elementary Remodel in Long Beach, Palm Springs High School, University Tower at the University of CA at Irvine, Chaparral High School in Temecula and the Museum of Art Addition in Laguna Beach.
